I feel so behind my quad has parts taken off it and the valves need adjusting, I still need the valve caps since 2 of mine are cracked and leak, with advancing the timing adjusting the valves should be a little more of a pain, and my quad is rediculously dirty besides the plastics and my brake rotor is loose. Wont be riding this weekend, I havent been on the quad in a month and a half or started it for that matter which means my battery probally bit the dust.

Because of advanced timing adjusting valves should be a pain????? Why would that be?:scratch chin:
You check and adjust valves the same way no matter if the bike has advanced timing or not.

its just more work because the timing marks wont line up right it will be 6 degrees off so i have to just feel my way with rocker play and/or stick something down the sparkplug hole to see where TDC is. I dont think it has to be at exactly TDC to adjust valves does it?

How did you advance your timing
off set key?
Valve timing
or trick the brain of when to fire.

It does not have to be on TDC to adjust valves. accually I prefer it not to be. I make sure that the lobe is faceing up when I check and adjust valves. then you are shure that you are getting the correct mesurement.

I'll probably be going out to croom. Waiting on some more parts , should have them Fri. I just ordered asv levers and some flexx bars. All's I've got to do is throw them on and finish putting my new clutch in and I'll be good.

Saturday for us
Hrm... thought I replied to this already... :tard[1]:
Anyway... I won't be able to go due to still waiting on a couple parts. Mainly the new axle :buttrock:
Got the levers in today though so that's something to wrench on this weekend at least. Really need to find some rear wheels too. I KNOW some of you guys switched to Hipers and what not....someone needs to come up off of their old stock 9x9 wheels! My money is good
Anyway, have a fun/safe ride!

Most of the time we park up front by the pit so we can ride to the back. We usually park right by the entrance to the A trail. look for my silver ridgeline with the TBRD sticker in the back window.

If you had AC you would have a broken ankle right now lol They make nice heel guards just even it out and buy cheep bolts ons that work with stock heelguards haha Did they crack both times in the same place? Was it from landing on them or what? I have the regular Pro Armor XC I believe they are called now with the built in heel guard they just use the stock peg though and I havent had any problems. When i got them and tried to line them up 1 side was literally bent so far down it was 2" off the ground but the bolt holes where where they should be and the other side was about 4 or 5" off the ground. I tilted the quad and put a jack underneath and with another person we leaned and pushed to bend them back for both sides. I havent had any problems yet with them. They have been through rolling and falling off a cliff and me landing right on them when I attempted to do a heel clicker on a jump that is a floater rather than popping the quad up for hang time. I lifted up and got my feet up near the seat and the ground was coming way too fast I just slammed my feet into the nets when it hit the ground and my feet were still up.

Thats a great Idea. Now I just need someone that can weld aluminum. Does anybody know anybody that can fix that for me? Of course I dont expect anyone to do it for free. But fixing it will give me time to save some money for some Blingstar's or Rath's. Oh another thing is I need someone to fix it this week. I have a race next saterday. Thanks.
Any local machine shop should be able to weld that in about 30 seconds.
run down to home depot or lowes and pick up a length of tubing that fits inside your break there, cut it to the right length and fit it together. Drop by some local shop and say "hey, can you weld this for me real quick?"
Remove any paint at the weld site too for them and all they have to do then is clamp the negative lead onto your bars and run a bead around it.
If I had the welder, I'd do it for ya...but I am still working on putting my shop tools collection back together.
