Fourtrax 250R front master cylinder

Anyway, it turns out that my new ASV brake lever does NOT fit my 86 master cylinder. It only fits 87-89 Fourtrax 250R...bummer.

So, if you run across one give me a shout. Really can't believe it changed so much between the two years but w/e.

Have you tried it, I bought one for a 400ex, (used) and it bolted right up to mr 86R I know they say they dont fit,

I was unable to make it work with my 86 ATC 250R master (different from 86 Fourtrax master).

The ASV levers purchased were for 87-89 Fourtrax 250R and so I crossed that master over to the 250x master to broaden my chances to find something.

I'm hope'n I find something cheap or I'll be sitting on this lever for a good while.

After even further investigation, it seems that 250EX, 300EX, 400EX and 450R with kickstart only front brake masters will all work with the lever I have.

Even some Suzuki and Kawasaki ones will too, so there's a better chance now that I'll find something that I can bolt up.

Still not liking the fact I have to buy another front master when I already have 2 good ones. :cussing::cussing:
