10/8/07 Hard Rock MX Park

We hit Hard Rock this past Monday and had a blast. The track was a little soupy early but dried out nicely towards mid-day. As I was one of the riders, I only have a few pictures. Check 'em out.

I can tell you who it wasn't. ME! That jump is huge and you have to hit it in 4th gear wide open. Plus it is a blind jump. All you see is the face of the jump and open sky. The jumper was Paul's son Anthony, of course. He hit it all day on his KX450F and took a few laps at the end on the YZ250. I actually beat him in a regulation race. He bet me that he could ride 7 laps in less time than it took me to ride 4. I smoked him and now he owes me a night out with the hooker of my choosin'. We had a blast. Sorry you could not make it. I had a talk with your boss so you should be in good shape from here on out.

That Jump looks so awesome! First time I went to hardrock someone was hitting it. I was so amazed. You have to have some nice sized balls to hit that one.
