I took my snorkel off my stock airbox... I think they are about worthless if your running it with out the lid, which I do and so do many others. Plus mine got a hole melted in the side of it from the exhaust. I used a black spray paint can cap to plug the hole from the snorkel, a little of my backyard intuition. :freak[1]: Check it out.

did the same thing when I removed the lid some time ago. Looks much cleaner and is easier to remove the box. Plus theres more volume around the filter removing it since the snorkel rests agaisnt the filter on the 1 side.
