View Full Version : Do you prefer the weather hot or cold?

i was talking to a co-worker and we were discussing winter coming. I am a native floridian and also have lived in the north as well. I do not like the cold at all. i prefer to be hot any day.

i was wondering what the ratio of hot and cold lovers is 50/50?

If I had to choose either extremes, "Hot Weather" for me...When doing outdoor activities...
When it get's into the 60's....I feel like I'm in a 'Navy Seal; Survival Course!

How I Feel about Hot or Cold Weather is not a "Democracy"...ha!ha!

I beg to differ Treehugger,
I am a native born Floridian, lil heavier than the average bear but non the less; I appreciate a decent cool ride.
I don't mind the heat when your at the beach or out on the waters canoeing.
When riding, I like a nice cool air around so you can ride longer.

I like it hot baby! Ideal is a nice cool 70-75, but forced to choose between freezing or sweating while riding - I can't get warm by going faster, but it sure does cool you down in the heat!

Plus - when its cold I can't stop shaking and that is obviously no fun on any bike!

Ive seen snow once and that was enough.So im going to have to go with HOT!!!!!!!!!!:D

I would like to insert that having experienced 2 wheels in snow and ice... I have no interest in THAT kind of cold weather, I am more along KT's 70-75. I am no fan of 95-100 is what I ment:)

Let me tell ya something. When I got up this morning, it was 34 degrees and frost was covering everything. Leaves are falling off of the trees like there is no tomorrow and what was green, is now brown. I will take the hot weather any day-just not in Florida.

i voted cold but would have to say that as mild high 60 low 70's is awsome riding weather!

No that is definitely NOT me on the Ducati, but yes that photo was taken at Deals Gap (N.C/ Tn.) otherwise known as Tail of the Dragon because of the more than 300 turns and switchbacks in the 11 miles of roadway!! :eek::eek:
