I'm looking to get a steering stab, but not sure which one to get. I like the Janssen, its a double for $300.00. I also like the Precision for way less, 160.00, but its a single. Give me some opinions. I want to stay at around 300.00 or less. Its for my YFZ.

+1...if u do any serious or fast paced woods riding...go with a Precision (the $450-$500 one)....10 of the top 10 GNCC pros use it...its the best...:drink1:

I am going to be getting a Precision in the near future.

One of the screws worked itself out on my Billetanium stabilizer on Saturday. I ended up losing the piece that mounts on the stem. Luckily, I still have the portion that fits a stock stem so I will be putting it up for sale soon.

Thread lock ftw.

Gonna do some thinking on it. I looked at the Elka 3 and 5 also.

Yeah I definately should have put loc tite on it. I was shocked it worked its way off. I had that sucker wrenched down tight!! Apparently not tight enough though. :cussing:

On a lot of my network installs I either use crush nuts or loctite. Any vibration can loosen a screw.

Well, its probably overkill but I am pretty dialed in to the Elka 5. I am going to see if I can get it locally for less than $550. Its probably overkill, but I will probably appreciate it more the better I get on the trails.

Ride Now will sell me an Elka 5 for $505.00, best price I found anywhere. Didn't need to haggle at all, another dealer told me $550.00, then said he would match someone elses price after I had walked away. Ride Now gets my bizness on this part.

If you can afford the Elka 5 then dont worry about the dual or single stabilizers. the Elka is like the Scott for street bikes. Much better quality than the Ohlin one that comes on the ZX-10.

It just sucks no one has these things in stock. Have to wait for it to be shipped.
