Well I tried it out, and it makes a HUGE difference. I used the 1"x50' and have a ton more left to do my other quads. I hardly noticed any heat at all coming from the pipe, where as before when I stopped or just idling it was like an oven on that side of the bike, not to mention the damage it was doing to my pants and boot. $35.00 investment, or go halfsies with someone.

I have my pipe wrapped too. It's the only way to go.

I used DEI brand, had enough to do my Ltr also. I wrapped it dry for length, cut it, then wet the wrap. Dont forget the metal ties and silicone.
