While riding yesterday, my bike would make an awful loud screetching noise when I would dump the clutch. Mainly when I would clutch it around turns.
I know its definatly coming from the clutch but what would cause this noise???
Any help will be much appreciated.

My LTR started sqeeking a few rides ago, especially in neutral. Now i have to almost completely release the lever before the clutch grabs. I am pretty sure my clutch about gone, u may be headed there too.

Pull the cover and see its real easy.if I open it up, I'll probably just replace the clutch
Ive been having a hard time changing gears also, whenever the motor gets warm
I think Adam is right, my clutch has just seen better days

anyone have any experience with Tusk clutchs?

Stick with factory clutches..man thats what I thought but I cant dish out the money for a factory one
thats why I asking about the Tusks
I found one person on exriders.com that says he liked them

You think if I go cheap it will burn up real quick?

Ive read up on these Tusk clutchs quite a bit
They are made by EBC and many people on ThumperTalk and Exriders have said they like them
I figure if they last half as long as the factory, it will be the same as buying a factory since the Tusk is half the price
For $45 I think I'll take my chances...

I have a set in my ltr450 there not bad and yes mr 96 your clutch about ready I am on my second,
I agree with the factory being better but for how long the tusk have lasted for me I would say it was worth it for me.
I am about ready for another
factory 1st year
and tusk 2nd year about even

EBC seems to make quality products. I might get the tusk myself.

I put the EBC in my 400 and I liked them.
I don't know if you remember me in the pits with the 400 but I reamed the crap out that bike and the clutch was fine.

It was only 2-3 years ago.
When did you start riding?
You had to be riding back then.
