Seriously the 2 stoke should be plenty powerful. the 450 4 strokes are very ballsy but I think unless you are close to pro status its not going to show up on the track so much.

I almost bought it today....But, i would like to find out the other opitions...besides, croom for places to go ride.

I think there's a track in Dade City...I know 1 of the mechanic's @ RTM's has his own Track somewhere in Riverview.

Trail Riding is Ok...but, I would prefer to Ride the track/tracks!

still havent been to dade city. there is also somewhere in pinellas.

the lakeland is the same place as the drag strip where the stunt shows are on the other side of the speedway. $20 for the day, alot cheaper than jennings.

8=17 I'll be @ Jennings ,,It's a Private Track Day with only 25 riders....That are out of my league...But, Hey! U have to ride with The Fast to be Fast!...

J/K ...the CR (Any year)is a great bike. Cant go wrong as long as it was maintained well.
With the 2 strokes I dont see that you will find much change in performance between older vs. newer
Id say as long as its clean go for it!

I had alot of tiume on dirt before I went to the street and had no tendancies to use dirt techniques on the street.

When I first got the R1....On those tight 90's...I was constantly,wanted to put the leg out! LOL
