Ok here is my race report for Gatorback or my name for it (pain in the back).

Well The start was great. I stalled the bike 3 times and was dead last off the line. I pass a couple of riders in the first woods section though and was doing ok until a rider was stuck in a tree/ I go to pass him and he reverses right into me and I get stuck on his bike. I get off my bike to move it and my kill switch comes off the bike. Once I freed the bike from his I was struggling to get the kill switch back onfinally did and alot of people passed me when I was sturggling with that guy and the kill switch. So I was alone and was doing ok I caught some people and it was the last lap and I was coming down the first hill and I herd a rider behind me catching me so I went left and crashed into a tree. Jacked my wrists up a little but not to bad. Finished the race with 5 laps in 1:28:45. After i got back to the pits I noticed that I had a flat on my right front tire. I have noticed the bike being hard to steer during the race but just thought it was fatigue. The MX track was really intimidating. and some of the whoops were the deepest I have ever seen. I would say that if you stood on the bottom of one the top of the next one was over knee high. The A trail at croom was never that bad. oh and to make it worse on one of the whoops there was a rock or stone that got exposed and it sent a massive shock through the quad. Brian, and John did great and Andy was charging hard also before he got a flat and ended his race. So I finished 8th out of 11, Brian finished 2nd out of 11, and John won his class. andy I dont know where he finished.

I have to say Myself and family had the best time racing EVER!!!! Just a perfect weekend. Nothing beter than a great event combined with some great friends and TEAM mates! enjoyed friday getting in by 5ish thru till an easy packup and ride home sunday morning!!

got there friday 5ish, got a spot by Rob C. and gang and saved room for the guys coming in the morn. good spot by the track. was tired had worked OT this week and got up at 4 to leave early friday so we were out early.

was just waking up and Brian and Johns crew arrived, Andy shortly after. registered and got ready for the practice. the track was a mix between hardrock main and their outback track. then into the woods but nicely not too tight. rough and whooped bad in a few spots. i say they were 4' deep, the bad ones. tried wades front wheels and tires but the outward offset messed up the steering i was used to so they came off and i went back to mine. there were some steep decilnes and climbs but not too bad. only a couple down hill turns where you would go quarry bound far down in deep water im sure. so so much fun.

then the waaaaiiiiiittttttttt. watched the early race starts then it was time to prep. was ready! my daughter karley came over on the line and told me to win for her and not crash so i had more motivation, was so cute. 10 seconds.....beeeeeep. bike starts good and im off closer to the front bout 6-7 out of about 16. passed a couple on the track and into the woods already feeling arm pump. already rutted too. had some really cool sections where you were running on top of the quarry and would drop down into the woods. a few small trees to buck the rear. then open up on hard pack tree lined trail into hill climbs. a few cool switchbacks up and down too. the down switches were sketchy since if ya went wide you went dooooown. then intot he wooods where the ruts got deeeep. and the roots got exposed to make nice hits. then wide left along the road, whoops, small jump, through and out to the track wot, hard brake, brake bumps, and droooop, i would lug 4th from the run in and drop and pin it to an up hill jump, 3rd, another step up i was doin and and other table top down tothe finish. 1st lap i didnt see the score board, 2nd i was 3rd place, i had passed a few guys hung up, 3rd i was4th (borish was on me in the woods and i tried to get over before he could me and i went left over a parrallel lag and was stuck, could not go forward. had to get off pulled the kill, got straight fired and was gone but passed a few times). 4th lap i was 3rd!! and fired up, had passed a guy. was hammering feeling fairly good. i could see him after me on the mx track just a turn away. (did not know, 2nd place got hung on another guy and rolled off the bike just in front of us by the bleachers on the mx track). i just pushed and into the woods..i could bearly feel my arms and was starting to get a bit scarry with the twist throttle. made it throught first woods and knew it was the last lap so i just pushed harder and focued the whole time to go go go. the last woods were just beyound insanely rough but you could rail the 2 foot deep tracks. pushed thru the last section and saw 2nd on the board and was just exstatic

we had a great sat night staying an relaxing, watched a movie in the warm trailer. slept in a bit and packed, hit the road by 10ish. got home washed everthing but my tahoe and trailer. :tard[1]:

so happy about the 2nd finish! about time!

Overall I had a blast. By far the best track but thats cause I love MX:crackup: I got off the line 5th before we hit the woods I was 3rd. Ran that way for 2 laps then the arm pump set in and it was by far the worst I have ever had. At first I thought I have the steering too tight, so I turned it as loose as it would go. Thats when I found out that it was pulling to the right REALLY bad but the steering damper was helping. Every time I hit the gas it wanted to go right. I realized the right tire went flat. Some of the trails if you went off you were droping 100ft + to the water and it was too cold to go swimming so I stopped on my third lap. I ran about 50 min so I still had a blast:thumb::bubbrubb2:
