St petersburg Tirekingdom needs one more Flat Rate tech immediately.
I figured i would post up here before i start recruiting.
Has to have atleast one ASE cert in a technical area . aka. brakes , steering suspension , diag , engine performance ect
Our pay plan recently changed and were offering some of the highest flat rates out there.
One ASE = 18$ flat rate
Two ASE= 23$ flat rate
Three or more = 26$ flat rate.
At my shop , techs complete everying and anything.. from flat repairs to engine swaps.. My 18$ flat rate tech made 750 last week and is projecting 900 this week.. The one master tech i have is making 900 to 1600 religiously..
if anyone has any interest or knows someone interested please see me in person at
2911 Tyrone blvd St petersburg 33710
or call 727 434 0000.
Thanks
Billy

One of my GS's was checking a front end and took part of his finger off in a caliper.. Miscommunication on his part..well as most of you know for workmans comp , they require a drug test. he failed it . I didnt have a choice but to let him go.. I also have another employee who ill be suggesting another career path to as soon as i recruit his replacement. Im surprised with our unemployment rate we dont have more experienced people interested.. I have 3 interviews scheduled next week

I think its ridiculous you have only 3 interviews setup. I have seen how tire shops run, those guys get some serious OT! Theres got to be more guys certified in your area, the unemployment rate in Florida is one of the highest. To bad about the guy who lost a digit, if it was Ganja and he was in Oregon, he would have gotten the workmans compinsation.

well unfortunately it was not the cheeba , how ever i personally couldnt care less what my guys do in their own time as long as it doesnt come to the work place..but yah 3 interviews when i have an add in the times... I was very surprised... problem is , clean background , DT and a valid drivers license.. you would be surprised how many people apply to Tirekingdom that have a criminal record or no license and still knowing those requirements , waste my time..

I know what you mean, just hired 3 new people myself, and even with the unemployment as high as it is, went through way too many to get three!!!!!!

Damn I would love to take this job but I'm not ASE certified and its way too far away. $18 an hour flatrate is pretty damn good.
