So I am trying to plan a big camping trip for my birthday in november. I want to be able to ride the quad and possibly some SxS vehicles, and would like to find a place that has showers, water, electric, a pool or hot tub, and we can ride right from camp to the trails.............Does anyone have any ideas??? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
Shawn

I should also say that there will only be a couple of people that have atv's to ride so the rest would want to do something else!!! In fact there will be more people without atv's than people with!!! So thats why I am looking for a place that is more geared towards actual camping that a big atv park!!!

Ocala has no power, water or sewer hookups in the forest campgrounds. What I have done in the past is if you go to Ocala stay in a private campground. Lake in the Forest is nice, web site listed below. The only place were you can ride with water and eclectic in Florida I know is Croom. Other than that you have to go out of state.

I've been to Delancey a few times, it's a great place and I miss going there, but it is all primitive camping...there are a few campgrounds right by the area with hookups, I think they range from 35-50/day

Does this place enforce the 9.5mph restriction that their site says they have? if so... not really quad friendly. Everything else looks nice though!

I've read their ATV section and it looks like they only want you to use your ATV like a golf cart...:lame:...But I can see their concern for the children.

appreciate all the help guys.......I am continuing to look......seems like most of the campground websites in florida suck!!! At this point I am looking for a campground that has a bunch of fun stuff to do and if I can take and ride my quad then its a plus!!! Anyone know of a campground that is close to croom (within 20 minutes)???????
