site down/slow

what can i do to get the site to run steady? it is slow and sometimes times out then it is fast?? do i need a better hosting package? thanks for your help

Brian,

Currently this server is reinitializing it's RAID array - you may experience troubles that would cause the slowness of your site due to this. When this is finished, your site will be working fine. This may take until tomorrow morning or perhaps a bit later to complete, and I apologize for your troubles in the meantime.

Brian,

The server that your site is located on is currently offline, as you've mentioned. We're currently investigating this matter now and working to get this server back online as quickly as possible. At this moment the server is running a 'fsck' on the /home partition to ensure drive integrity. Due to the nature of the issue, we cannot offer an accurate ETA at this time. However, based on prior issues of this nature the 'fsck' (Filesystem Check) should likely finish within the next hour or two. Once the server is online we will be further investigating to ensure that all remains well.

Greetings,

Sporadic connectivity will certainly be apparent until the RAID Init completes. I am able to view these sites myself at this time, however it's very likely they will appear up/down throughout the next several hours.

As soon as the RAID Init completes within a few hours, all will be well.

I have checked your site and I also notice it to be down. Once the init finishes, all services will be restored 100%. In the interim the named service is loading domains slowly during this time, once complete all domains will be accessible.
