Went to ApolloBch track today with the Attitude to hit this 1 Double that i haven't been able to hit!

Now, this double remind u is consider a 'Small' double in My Mind meaning, U really dont get height out of the face of the jump. But, U do have to carry momentum out of the corner to clear it.!

Well, I decide that the next lap it's going to happen.
So, I carried the Speed through the sweeper, approaching the face of the jump, then suddenly I decide not to go for it, yet i don't scrub off speed to land, where i have been landing all day!

Soooooo! what happens Next?

Anyone ????... & U don't have to be Polite!

Case it I did..The impact was so harsh, that I think I tore ligaments in my left ankle and smash my heel in the right right!

But, I stayed on the Bike and manage to get off the track, straight to the Ice cooler..where i soak both feet...Geez!

I have to drag myself around the house with my legs dangling behind me !

I so pissed....Even though i have a ':blahblah::blahblah:' for a bike....Surley these bikes must be able to handle such impact's...I'm over this Dirt Poo!

Thanks Guys!

I love MX...I'm just not 'Happy" being a Poser!

I lack patience and want to be able to hit all the Jumps as Smoothly as they!... and can't understand why....My 'Gonads' haven't grown back!
This really P's me off...that I can't just 'Twist The Wrist'...and go for it!
I hate having this mental Block!

My Friend took My Cr and did evry jump , just like he does on his CRF450. So, I know it isn't the Bike....it's ME!!!!!!

Granted, My friend is a former National Rider....But, he took His 450 around the track and Case the Same Jump on purpose! Just to show me...I guess that there a way to case Jumps correctly!...I guess ha!ha!

Now, for the Giving Up part.
If I was able to continue riding after I case the Jump., I would've went back around and try it agian & Again till I hit it! But, I couldn't continue!

I just going to "Hurt" myself as I have riding MX...and Trail riding/HareScramble...Just doesn't do it for me.

We'll see....I think I might have a Buyer for the Cr...
If...I ride again...

It will be YAMAHA!....:buttrock:

BTW>Hondas are Awesome Dirtbikes..

Not Scared of The Bike/Bikes....
Just want to be a Fast rider...and If I can't hit all types of Jumps ..then I will never be'FAST'

I getting around the House right Now using a "Barstool" as a Walker...Hurts like heck to put pressure on the left ankle. But, I have no other choice because, i can't put any pressure on the right heal area!

I could only imagine what wouldve happen if i had try his 85' triple...Geezs!

....And I had No Clue..where the speed, I was going was going to carry me!

Then I seen where I was going to Hit.....I just figure the bike could have handle the impact.

I also, knew > It's better to over shoot...then....Case it!

If you were on four wheels the trails would be fun for you.Its a lot easyer to ride a bike through the woods than a quad

Andy, That might be true. But, I just think that anything u ride hard in the Dirt...Should be as Simple as u can make it..and Still have performance.

I've decided after reading through some Forums...that I would stay with a 2 Stroke...
My friend took my CR...Did everything thing, that he does on his 07 CRF 450.
So, the little difference in performance that they talk about doesn't outweigh the cost in maintance for me.

Quads are even more costly...4 tires is just the start.

Heck....My R1 u don't have to check the 'Valves'.. till 25,000 miles!

I have to CR up for Sell...I figure it's perfect timing with a fresh Engine rebuild & me injured & pissed...why not sell!

I am though....looking into a good deal on a 2006 YZ 250 or a 2006 CR 250( better turning )...in the mean time. We'll see!

I'm sorry to hear that you tore up your foot. It will heal. Don't give up. Buy a late model YZ 250 and give it hell. The late model YZ's are the sweetest 2 strokes ever (imho). I have an '05 and would highly recommend it. It seems to be the Yammy 450's that have a little trouble in the turns (they apparently fixed it or made major improvements in '08). Even then, it only seems to effect the guys that can ride the bike at its limits. That pretty much leaves me out.

Mike

Ya, I guess yamaha came out with the Aluminum frames in 06

But, I could settle for a 05 CR...since they have had the frame out since 97..

If my ankles heal before I sell the CR....I'll just keep it!

Andy btw...I like the roundness of the 2nd jump..good for recovery if u case it(Helps).

After, I case my jump...They went out with the 'Bobcat' to round off the face of the 2nd jump!!!!!

A friend of the owner of the track...pay for a load of Dirt... to make the landing closer, Yet, had the face of the 2nd ^..Shape!...Not fun to case! lol

The pain stays around longer with a tear or strain, when you brake something the pain goes away in like the first week

I hit the double in second gear wide open or I can cruise over it in third. I haven't made the triple yet still building up to it. But if I go third wide open I will make it. And no next to the 80' it almost flat.
