Accually There was some whoops out there, After I did that video I Adjusted the suspension some more and It is feeling ok. I need some rougher stuff to dial it in more. But wound up doing about 20 miles. I dont really like riding in the woods alone, If something happenes it could be really bad.

if we got 6 or 8 guys out there for 2 hours it would get really good and rough

yeh I agree, The course is good for some single track riding Just need to add some tighter stuff for a good mix.

Damn I miss that place...I used to ride there every couple of weeks after I first got my Raptor...in fact that was the first place I trail rode with it. I'm definitely coming up there in a month or two. And yeah it is a pretty damn place to be riding alone in...

Id like to go ride too. welll...um nevermind. LOL Wait so you just drop 10 bux in the tube and ride in ONF? I didnt know that. I thought it was a pass only deal. Are there speed limits or no?
08trx450r

Does it look like there was a speed limit!!! I was full throttle fifth gear on your bike. Also this was the 3rd time for me going out to the forest to ride and Have yet to see any rangers or anybody checking anything.

yeah theres a speed limit WFO on our loop you would be lucky to see another rider they all hang around the campgrounds. whoops dont mean that you are training. if we could get 8 or so quads out there running race pace it would get really choppy and rough croom is like that because of the volume of riders that use the trails. i bet if it were smoother you would here no one complaining. i like to ride at 80% race pace for 1 hour to get my heart rate up

Sparkys, non-aggressive tires, registration/ID, and a 10 dollar fee (cash) at the entrance. You can also buy a yearly pass for 75 bucks from the ranger station on 19.

Do they check for the sparkys
fastjunkie131
09-14-2010, 07:43 PM
they check if you payed that is if you see any rangers i have seen them 4 times in 11 years
Spartan727
09-14-2010, 08:07 PM
They supposedly check...I rarely see them but it only takes once, and cause it's a state park, it's a federal ticket if they issue one, which means you'd have to go to Tally to fight it...I have heard both ends of the spectrum regarding the rangers there...some can be assholes and some just don't care. It is also an honor system for the most part...you can grab the pass and not put anything in the box, just carry the green tag with you (plus the parking thing on your dash) and they don't normally look too much. Not to mention they don't check the boxes til really late in the day.

Let me know when you want to go. I have a place right at a trail head, ride right out of my yard into the forest. I used to ride there a LOT back when it was fun. At one time it was enough fun for me to buy a second home up there. I still go up about once a month to mow the yard but I have better places to ride.
