I took this shot down by the sand pit.. I have never seen a brown and white deer...
Second pic is of a guy trying to climb a hill It doesn't look to bad in the pic but the hill is all most straight up. He tried quite a few times but never did make it...

But, Are Deers of that color rare?
If so, i would think she should be capture and turn loose some where she could live along life!
Even though She comes from a inferior gene pool!

Are you saying they can Bow Hunt in the motorcycle park???? With people riding around????
I was talking to a couple of riders yesterday and one of them said he has seen one that was black brown and white. He said they had a name for them but couldn't remember what it was....

He just kept rolling back down the hill. It's a lot steeper then it looks.
Here is another shot of him he almost made it.

There are hunting areas other than the Motorcycle park.
There is much more to Croom than what we see. There are mountain bike trails, Horse trails and hunting camps. My wife rides horses there all the time.

Do you trailer your horses in or can you rent them in the park?

I showed the deer pic to some hunter buddies of mine. They said they get those colorations form being part albino. They said they usually dont last too long in the wild.

That deer is called a 'piebald'. She is about two years old and is one of twins. The other twin was killed last year out on the interstate.
She is a bit on the small size but that could be because she is a twin.
As for bowhunting...YES!! hunters can hunt in Croom during the regular deer season. We don't get too many that do hunt... maybe two or three, and so far no quad or bike riders have been harvested!
BTW - I have a photo of that deer in my truck. If you want to see it just ask.

Not sure if thats it or not but Croom has a legend of the Albino Deer. That one doesnt look too albino to me cause only half is white maybe theres more?

:tard[1]:I think that "mutation" is actually called "piebald" or "piebold". It's some kind of pigmentation issue. Cool looking but weird. Or maybe I'm just an idiot?:tard[1]:
