Yeah they dont guarantee to save your ankle or leg cause I had a pair of tech 6 boots on and still broke the leg

True, I'm not that naive,,lol

But, My other Boot's are The O'neal Elements.

These for Sure are @ least a Upgrade & have Great Writeups on The Thumpertalk forum...Alot of discussion about former ankle injurys.

So, I went with them after some reseach.

I use Alpinestars with the R1

Made in Italy with hand-selected full-grain leather, this is the same boot that Heath Voss, Mike LaRocco and the rest of Team Factory Connection use.
Transworld Motocross Magazine: perfect 10 rating "The SG10 has set the standard by which we will now measure all motocross boots"
US Motocross.com: "The Gaerne SG10 tops the podium based on feel and ease of use"
Upper/Liner:
Gel padded interior conforms to the rider's foot
Adjustable aluminum buckles can be moved on the 2 top positions, accommodating almost any size rider
LoctiteŽ adhesive used to secure all pivot screws
Re-designed inside rubber grip to make a smoother surface when gripping the bike
Safety:
Hinged calf ankle support breaks in fast and gives the rider a good confidence with the amount of support the SG10 provides

I couldn't Kick Start the Cr 2 Days Ago.

So, I bought the Boot to practice jumping from a Chair , then from a ladder....working up to jumping off the House onto the pavement to condition the joints for impacts....

I had to stop running into the car head 1st without the Helmet...I was getting such heachaches...LOL

Thunder, the 08 models are expensive, but, less then the Tech10(Alpinestars with a Booty).
I have the 07 model(External Brace) closeout and they were only 269.00...Which is Average price for Mid=level Boot and a great Price for a a highend boot.

A 300.00 + boot for 265.00 for the 07' model & the Hype is the reason I bought them.
But, After checking them out...I think i could have been just as happy with a Mid-Level boot and some ankle wraps!

Those Tech 10's were up in the 400.00 range!

Tim told me a couple of people have gotten hurt of that little double.

The issue with that Double was Someone else had used the 'BobCat' and Square it off...instead of making the Face Round on the upside of the 2nd jump!

Plus, it's hard to carry speed coming out of that tight Burm in front of it...@ least for me it is..No, time to get into "The Pipe"
