Do you head out 275 through 75 or take the Veterans?

I may check out taking the Veterans to see if it is quicker.

I take 19 north to Tarpon ave. turn right go to East lake Rd. then north on east lake to the first light then turn right. That will take you to 54. Turn right on 54. Take 54 all the way to 75 north on 75. That's the way I go....

I'm heading to Croom Saturday or Sunday not sure which yet. I have room in the trailer for a couple more quads If any one wants to go and share the fuel.

Only thing is we leave at 6:00 AM because I like to get there early and then we leave around 3:00 PM

about 1 hour give or take 5 minutes more or less. That's driving the speed limit which I do and I only drive at 65mph on 75 any more than that and my truck really starts to slup up the fuel...

The veterans has tolls and I usually take a trailer there and it would cost me like 8 dollars to save a little time is not worth it

Gotcha. That makes sense. I live right near 60 and 19. I think I may try hittin the Veterans up to 54 and then hop over to 75. I hate runnin through Tampa.

He Wade Look at the roads on Google Earth it might be better for you just to take 60 to 49th street (which turns into East lake Rd.) and run it until you come to trinity blvd turn right and that will take you to 54. I think that would be easier then driving over to the veterans parkway.... No tolls and the traffic isn't that bad on 49th
Just a thought..

My fiance used to live in Trinity so I am familiar with the route. There can actually be a bit of traffic throughout Countryside East Lake area. I live literally 2 minutes from the Courtney Campbell.

I use to mow lawn in eastlake woodlands and the traffic on McMullen was always bumper to bumper:cussing:.If you hit 275 through tampa about 7:30-8 its not bad but going home is rough I wouldnt mind going a diffrent way home

Shogun, I go howard franklin, to 75 and take it all the way up. I always pull a big trailer, so if you ever want to go and split fuel, I'm down with that...

If you are serious about that, and want to go Saturday, let me know. I need to throw some new planks on the car trailer, and I'll do it tomorrow night if you wanna go with us so we can stick your quad on also. We could really put 4 on probably, but they couldn't be super wide. (no +10 axles)

Quazi, janette and I go to croom almost every weekend. we will be there this weekend. I've taken every way possible. if you live near 60, the best way is to take 275 to 75. It will put a lot less wear on your vehicle. the length of time is almost the same. what you lose in gas you pick up in time. I pull a 21" car carrier. It weighs a lot more than a regular trailer. but is anyone wants to car pool. let me know. also, I know that this cookout thing is fun, but we do it every weekend. all of our friends know that anyone is welcome to join us. we park in the front, next to the water spicket on the right side of the pit opening. you can't miss me, green titan, big azz white trailer. I usually have my kids riding around like little flys buzzing arond a big pile of poop. HaHa. but not this weekend. just dave janette, me and some BIG AIR!!!!

I took the Veterans to 54, then to 75 on the way up and 75 through 275 on the way back and timed it. It was exactly the same.
