well i didnt mean to start debates or negativity with the prior post. ya know me, i always try and include the family in making decisions.

I had already agreed with Paul to have it at Motoplex and had originally planned to have it there every year. (dirty foot was not even open yet)

I/we understand the challenges our current economy has created and hope everyone can attend. if you cant make it happen it is okay, just please choose not to attend and not to comment negatively and cast a bad light on our fun program. thank you!
So....

the date is Memorial Day weekend!! May 26 Thursday thru May 29th!!

More to come as it unfolds.but, this will be even a better event for round #2.

Holiday weekends where I work,well its an act of congress to get time off.:cussing: I am also going to a new shift and we cover Clearwater Beach and with it being Memorial Day weekend it will be a mad house out on the beach. I will put in a time off request and see what happens but it would be like winning the power ball and what are those chances.:bs::bs:

That depends on mother nature. If you are tent camping, it might be hot, then again, it might get cold at night. Might be dry and dusty or could rain all weekend and be wet. The only way to be sure of perfect camping conditions is to bring a motorhome.

Seriously though, most park in a big group. There are no water or power hookups but there are hot showers and porta pots. There are plenty of areas away from the main group if you want more privacy or you are tent camping. There are a LOT of LOUD generators in the main camping area, so if you are in a tent you may want a little distance from them.
