thanks but i was just curious what worked for you guys i have done some reading on mr8 u4 mo2x and 260gt which are all oxygenated fuel to help produce more power in stock compresion motors with some required tunning ofcourse. I wish i had a dyno in my back pocket to play with ignition timing the fuel and tune on the bike lol over kill for the weekend warrior but hey who wouldnt want more power. but they all do come at quite a cost $$$

I don't know what you have, but most guys on here focus on suspension over hp, simply because these guys think they go fast enough. Are you looking for more top end or more power down low? You could always change a sprocket up or down and get results. I myself tried race gas and didn't see any pro's to it.

Most fuels that claim 6% power increase are $80 to $120 for 5 gallons. You could buy a cam or a piston in a few cans of gas. Just my thinking, I have also heard that you cannot leave the oxygenated fuels in your bike for more than 2 weeks. Not sure if it goes bad or it may evaporate. Sounds like alot of work for power you might not even feel. Just my opinoin.
I just paid 7.50 for Vp 110 leaded.

$4.25 on weekends $4.65 on weekdays. It is very consistent as it has to be because a simple mistake at 10,000ft is pretty serious. It will not freeze, it has a really long shelf life, blue tint, despite the LL low lead it actually has about twice the amount of lead per gallon as race gas. Most places dont sell the GL I believe it is that is the same octane rating but without lead. Anyways it comes out to about 103/104 octane. I ran like 2/5ths 100LL and the rest Shell 93 octane pump gas. About 95 octane. It was more of a safety net in case the batch of 93 was a little less. No knock sensor, high compression, a lot of timing advance...

You guys are missing the point, The cheaper race fuel gives you no power gain by itself. If you want a power gain from fuel it had to be oxygenated and let me know if you can find that for $4-$10 a gallon

Brandon, you had asked what we run. Most of run stock compression and use pump gas. I use 100ll because I hate ethanol. I know a few fellas that have their compression bumped a few points and run vp u4.2. Like Andy mentioned though, their are a lot better ways to gain power.

Thanks for all the input. All I have to say is oxygenated fuel is pricey lol guess I'll just have to figure out what works for me

I think a couple have asked what kind of bike you have! well here is one for a honda it is plug and go.
gives you timing rpm as some of the new adjustments.and it is instant
horsepower made for well you know non-mechanical.
The guy at procom actually will help you.He did for me and it actually works rather well.
Now if you have the newer bikes its even easier.
1-9 adjustments with a small screw driver (regular) ride each one until it feels the best. and you can even do timing fuel air temp all the maps and you can fine tune the adjustment but the maps that are givin, you do not need to touch they are purrrrrfect.

old or new bikes they have it .
only way I know for instant gratification for everyone on this TBRD.
But i am kinda partial to LTR's

Oh I forgot one importanta (Spanish for very important) thing it is very cheap especially for being the brain. There will be no arse(spanish for ass smooching)kissing tonight.I am married hahahahaha Just messing with you guys.
I hope Brian does not get upset about me writing as_ too many times.
By the way it will work for the big bores also oh ya.and on the LTR that would be map 7 or 8 shhheeeeeeeeeeeet. With no need really to fine tune any of the maps with exception of what used to be the choke which is temp to fuel and it is actually made for dummies such as I to adjust.

If I am not mistaken I think they sent a representative to help me go over the instructions which was remove 2 screws and unclip the wire.
and to install it is in reverse order.
This is her helping with the instructions

I know Nitro will evaporate within seconds of making contact to either your hand or the ground. It's nearly gone before it touches anything. Might be the same with with the higher test race gas too.

Been my experience that unless you have a fair amount of motor work done you are pissing your money away! I know most feel that power increase but I think its wishfull thinking most of the time.
