The classes are divided based on turnout. We always have a dirtbike class, quad class and a side by side class. The last 2 races we have also had a youth class. As far as classes within the above classes we determine at the day of the race. We will do "Quad A", "Quad B" and "Quad C" and likewise with the other classes when there are enough. We have done 2 races thus far and the comments have been very positive. Everyone says they will be back due to the way they are treated, the cost to enter, cash to the winners instead of trophies and that the way the course is laid out. We hope to see a large group on the 12th, so please tell all of your friends!!

We are getting great feedback for this race. They are calling for 60% rain on Thursday which will be perfect for the course. We are going out today to mark the course. Hope to see everyone out at the race!!!

We have not ridden it all at one time as of yet.....most likely somewhere around 10-11 miles. Will try to ride it the next couple of days to get the actual mileage.

Lots of pre-registrations coming in!! This rain is definitely going to help in the way of the dust. Make sure to make adjustments on the quads for the creek crossings. Should they be too deep we will make other arrangements in the course or make bypasses. Keep those pre-registrations coming, see you Saturday!!!

You could get the bobcat out there and make some jumps for the creek crossings
That would be fun to ride and watch
Going around is OK but jumping into it or blasting through is more fun
We will be out there Friday evening

sand deteriorates quickly when it is used for building a jump....keep this in mind.

Finishing is the hardest thing to do......after doing that a few times then you can focus on placing. Thanks to everyone that made it out. We heard a lot of positives today and hope that we continue to build Harescramble Racing at our park!!

Kyle had a blast and was really tired after riding 33 miles making only 3 out of 4 laps
He slept well and we had a blast and will definately be back, plus only 20 buck to race is a deal
Dirtyfoot is great place to ride

I really enjoyed running in my first harescramble! It was a fun and challenging course. Glad I finished all 44.8 miles of it. Now I need to set up my bike for XC rather than MX, I'm sure I will have an easier time next run. :thumb:
