SO I made the mistake of letting a novice friend ride the bike down the block. I said use LITTLE throttle, what does he do, full rev in second gear! Bike goes flying down the road, and he supermans onto the pavement and had roadrash so bad it took me 2hrs to debride him and bandage him up.

Hes doing better and will recover, no neck or head injuries. Thats the important part.

Well the bike slid down the street on the right side and luckily the handle bar end was down and saved my radiator, but the bike needs a new throttle sleeve, grips, brake lever, foot peg, plastics, and the fork is mis aligned.

Can the fork be fixed? Im freakin out cause I just got this thing ready to go and now its ****ed, I just hope the fork can be a simple fix like realigning some things. Its off by a couple degrees. Like if the handle bars are perfecty straight, then the front tire is pointed to the left a little. Its not rideable. HELP? Thanks-Adam

Just loosen the triple Clamps slightly(where u're tubes won't fall)...then Straddle the front tire applied pressure with u're knees, grab the handle bars...and straigten her out..
Torgue u're triple clamps bac...to specs...u're done!

Thanks for the replies. Yeah we can look back and laugh at it now, jesus that was a real crazy wreck. I was prob 200 yards away and could hear the bike rev up to redline and then saw my bike come into view with no one on it, it slid like 60feet and I could hear the horrible sound of metal to concrete contact and see dust and then my friend came into view behind the bike on all four. OUCH! Pics to come.

I know a lot of people that under estimate the power of these machines.I had a KDX 200 2 stroke before the CR and I let someone ride it and he got on it like it was a mo-ped and it through him off the back asoon as he hit the gas.

So, yeah I just ordered some parts for the bike. Under closer inspection he assraped all the plastics.
Bought a Acerbis plastics kit,One industries Torco/Nofear decal kit, aluminum throttle sleeve, pillowtop grips, some replacement bolts.

Just got in the vortex sproket set, chain, chain guide, etc. This bike will look and run brand new in 2-weeks.

Wow, finally everything came in. And the bike is going under the knife today. I just put on all the new plastics, graphics, chain slide. Now Its getting a new rear tire, installing the sprockets, chain, adjusting the front alignment, install throttle sleeve, and grips. I should have it all done sometime this week and will post some pics. Now that the bike will be ridable I cant wait to get out there with ya'll!-Adam

will look a little like this when done....

I already gave it to her. She loves it and already grabbed the bull by the horns and is riding it.

I replaced the rear fender, front fender, pulled the tank graphics, new front rotor, new pads, sanded and repainted exhaust pipe, synthetic oils and a good scrubdown and it looks great and runs like a champ.
