Cross Country Race Dirtyfoot Adventures Saturday April 9th

The boys and I are heading out early Saturday for Kyle to run the cross country race Saturday about 5 pm and then camp out
We will be in camping area #1, weather looks great and we will be hitting the pond and zip line
Looks like Merle, Mike and Shannon will be coming out, anyone else coming?

This is a great place, friendly, family oriented and only 20 bucks for riding, camping all weekend and 20 to enter race, 10 of which goes into winners pot
If you want to try a race this is the place to give it a shot.
You do not need a kill switch just a quad or bike and have fun

I'll be there. Gonna get there around 3pm on friday and camp all weekend till sunday at around 4pm. Me and the fiancee will be tent camping in campground #1. Look for a Blue single cab dodge and a white/black honda 400ex. Can't wait for the race, gonna be a fun one! Normally I just take pictures or sweep or help out some other way but not this time, I wanna race! #89, running the slow quad class lol. Come over by the camp and say hi, and since yall are staying the weekend maybe we can go on a group ride?

I won't be racing but the wife and i are looking forward to riding the trails and visiting with fellow TBRD riders. I plan to be there around 8 am Saturday get settled and start riding.

:crackup::crackup: i was there this weekend testing.... i have a bunch of stuff on order so if i can get it all on the bike in time i might race. :devillook: i like one way trails cause in a two way situation coupled with fourth and fifth gear it could get ugly. even with the one way trails there is a couple crossings that are blind and high speed both ways. i need a to put up a stop sign up for the other direction.

The race is on!!!! It will still be about 10 miles so the laps will most likely remain at 4. We will shut the trails down around 3-3:30pm and finish marking the trails. We expect to have the practice lap somewhere around 4-4:30pm and start racing around 5pm. The course will be very fun. We are utilizing many trails that have not been ridden on forever and maybe never. There will be lots of twisting trails as well as few short open ones. There will also be areas to pass others. We will also add a jump near the finish line as well as a jump or two near some creek crossings. We will have a bridge crossing for those that do not wish to go through the creek or jump over it. With the rain we have received the trails are perfect right now. NO standing water but very moist. Hopefully we will get some more rain this week making the trails great for the race.

Question about entrance to Dirty foot. I will be driving north on Singletary RD from County Line Rd. On the map I see Kelly Rd, is the entrance at Kelly rd or north of Kelly Rd?

Hey Brian I wish you could make it to. Won't be the same with out our leader. Chris is going to take pictures. I've got the helmet cam and the GPS I may map the trails and make up a KML file for Google Earth just for the fun of it. I had a lot of fun doing it for Croom. Yup I'm working on it. Took a bunch of points (co-ordinates) Saturday and Sunday. Wife took photos and Videos and I got a few videos with helmet cam. Will work on entering the points into Google Earth this week.

No I worked the area between Kelly Road (main track) and countyline Rd from Camp grounds east just the other side of power lines. all so did some fence lines just to see how they lined up on google with your maps you all ready have made up.

Not sure how long it will be. The one way trails makes it a little harder to track the trails. will have a better idea once i finish what i have now.

Will show you what i have as soon as it's done and then decide where to start from again.

Will have to let you know later in the week when i can come back down..
