well last ride produced some more challenges...
first the dang starter wouldnt engage. finally died and John had to push me till we got a strap. :tard[1]: and i forgot to turn the key on first push :crackup:
found out it is my one-way starter clutch? never heard this going out :cussing:
then my dang front sprocket was making some noise too..

Wow!!! That sprocket has seen better days! I just replaced my front and thought it was bad..........that one takes the cake. :eek:

Raptors are know for the one way clutch. I've heard when you start the bike in gear it puts more strain on the one way clutch.

Brian you can put that sprocket on craigs list along with your families trailers, you should get a few bucks for it. :kewlpics:

Dang Brian your the first for eveything transmition , one way clutch you must be hard on that thing :crackup:

Raptors are know for the one way clutch. I've heard when you start the bike in gear it puts more strain on the one way clutch.
I've replaced mine twice. Even replaced one of the unbreakable ones..... hhmmm.... I start in neutral 99% of the time.

I don't know, I don't even remember who told me. I start mine in gear all the time and never had a issue.

brian the 07 honda has a recall on the starter gear i just did mine i coud not do the recall be couse i am not 1 owner

That sprocket situation is really strange. I dont know what would have caused those three teeth to grow like that. I would just grind them down to match the rest of them and you should be fine.:SugarwareZ-005:

That sprocket looks like my father-in-laws teeth. He can still eat a tough steak with less teeth than that! You'll be fine.:crackup::crackup:
