OK guys I have come to the realization that I was'nt ready to give up street riding. So with that being said, the quad I bought a little over a month ago is up for sale.

I know its priced a little high but this quad is in great shape. If you have any questions feel free ask.

Definatly interesting. The wife doesnt think its all that interesting though but she does understand.

I have had a ton of fun playing at croom but the quad isnt filling the void. I have thought about my bike every stinking day since i sold it. I have a list of reasons why i sold it and at this point the list is out the window....i need another street bike :devillook:

Just to let you guys know, the price is negotiable (within reason) but dont let the people on craigslist know.

Send some details. Im not sure if Im going to go with another supersport but I do like to keep my options open.

Come Oct. 1st.....U might hate The Street!

This is one reason im considering going with a naked bike, like a speed triple, or even going with a cruiser (M109R). Im thinking that due to all the straightline riding thats available in Florida that a ride thats a little more comfy then a supersport might be the way to go.

I fear that the new laws going into effect will cause Johnny Law to target anything with fairings even more. I forsee a lot more people running when it goes in to effect. Unfortunatly there are going to be deaths as a result of the law and the media will cast more bad light on us. :cussing:

Sorry for the rant

Very true about the 5 mph over, but im not looking to slowdown as much as fly under the radar. Im not sure what im going to do. When I do sell the quad I will probably sit on the money for a while and then decide. I think I am leaning towards the speed triple though.

At this point Im not ruling out staying on dirt. If I do it will be on 2 wheels instead of 4. Someone I know has a nice 04 CR250 for sale for 2500 and there is a nice looking 01 YZ250 for sale on another forum for 1500 that I have been thinking about.

Im such an indecisive idiot sometimes but as most of us that ride, im looking for the adrenaline rush and the "That was F'n fun" feeling. If only I had the cash to have 1 of everything this issue would be resolved :)

Kafer, the CRs 02and Up 250's...change there engines to the case reedvalve motors..haven't really heard anything Good about the Engine. Honda made awesome 01& below engines.
The 02 ups they say,the only way u can ride them is..Have the throttle PINED..the whole time, theres No torque @ all with the case reedvalvemotors...
now with mods U can correct anything..I guess!

My .02..Stick with the Dirt....it can be Very frustrating....But, with some seat time out there...I find it more enjoyable then The R1...

Because, it's more Challenging...But, this is Just me...
Just remember with the YZ"s...they didn't come on with the Aluminum frames till 06..While Honda came out with them..in 97..

Go Red...Mr. B will Like that 1....LOL

Thanks for the heads up on the CRs.

Today I was out at croom with my friend and spent all day on the YZ. It was fun but the sugar sand kicked my butt. I dont remember dirt riding being that much work on 2 wheels :) Im sure riding in the sugar sand gets easier with experiance. I did have a couple crashes due to the front end washing out in the deep sand but other then that it was a good day.

A quick question though, is plug fouling a normal thing to deal with when owning a 2 stroke? or do I just suck? It happened to me once but it also happened to another friend on hsi YZ.

As far as YZs go I was considering the one on the other forum due to price. Im trying to figure out a way to have the street bike and the dirt toy without breaking the bank.

Not usually, sounds like something is not tuned,The only time I ever fouled a plug is when I lost a reed.If they run heavy on the oil mix it may cause them to foul to.

Nevr had a Plug foul...But, have heard of a Foul Plug on the 2 stroke.

lugging...A 2stroke all the time...and never opening it up...can cause the Plug to foul.

kaf....I hate riding in that 'SugarSand' and is the main reason ...I don't go to Croom.

Go ride a track somewhere'Pop' U're cherry....The Bite/Traction U have @ some tracks ...make's riding 2 wheels awesome Fun...
