Widowed female, short as hell 5ft 1 . I can ride 125,250 but I am so short that I have a YZ 80 bore out to 105 cc & I borrow my guy friends bikes. I would like to buy my 18 yr old son a 250 & ride that. And give my daughter my bike. I was thinking of buying a CRF100 but I really like two strokes. I now have a KX60 that my 14 yr old daughter has outgrown. I cannot fix dirtbikes, but I love to ride them lol

Welcome to the site Kathy
We have two boys 15 and 10 and ride quads and plan on doing numerous Croom trips and cookouts since the weather is getting cooler
My wife is 4 foot 10 and 3/4 inches and rides a Honda TRX 250 quad with sport clutch (semi automatic)
They are cheap to pick up used, like about 1600 for a 2006, and run forever with little maintenance unlike two strokes that are finicky

Best thing to do is to go to a powersports dealer and sit on a few to see how they fit you.

[QUOTE=DirtLady;59269]I am clueless how to post & reply on this sorry. I started riding at 30 years old when I got a divorce from my first husband I got rid of him & I bought a Honda dirtbike. It was the best trade I ever made lol. I started going to croom & riding with my guy friends I loved it & got quite good at it. I saved for 7 1/2 years & moved my kids & my second husband to citrus county where I could afford a house & five acres to ride. I have had that house for 6 years. The development I live in is not patrolled by the cops. The homeowners own the roads(dirt). I lived there u ntil my dad passed & I bought another home in Pasco. To take care of my mom. Now I have to sell the 5 acres as this place is where the kids & I had and live now. I have in the last 13 years acquired arthritis in my spine. S I joint problems, L3-4 issues. I get back shots, pain med dr, physical therapist who puts my S I back everytime I put my leg over the dirtbike lol and ride. My pain dr. doesn't know I am riding. I got tired of being pulled over by cops in New Port Richey for riding. That's why I love riding the whole development I live in on weekends up in Citrus. No cops, just rednecks from New Jersey like me. I am so desperate for another bike for me & one for my son.and one for my daughter. But 2 house bills keep my money tied up. When I sell property I will get the bikes, now I have to ride my Yamaha. I will get my Croom sticker the day I sell lol. I need a good mechanic & some bikes recommended. My current mechanic has issues another day for my drama stories lol. I cannot function without a dirtbike. I am so glad to meet people with the same passion. I tried to give my kids this lifestyle since they were both six years old. I also love watching motocross racing. I also have a Buell Blast 500cc street bike. My second husband passed away so I need the name of a mechanic if anyone has a good one.
