Site Donations

Well i hate to ask but since everyting is getting so damn expensive and my wife is getting screwed around on her job, i'm asking for small donations for the site.

The idea is not to have advertising and to keep our little corner of the internet a hassle free place. It has not been very expensive. The site software was $160 with a $30 yearly license renewal coming due. And since i upgraded the hosting to the much faster service, that is now $15 a month.

I vow to always keep the site up and running, donations or not. I enjoy having it to share pictures, which i love, and most of all meeting people to ride! And i think we all have meet some great folks doing so.

Sooooo, please do not donate a bunch of money, i know we all need it lately. But if you can spare a few bucks it would be great. i will keep track of the donations and use them strickly for site purposes and even keep a running post either with the donors names or anonymous. (please tell me via PM)

in fact it made me stop and think this whole site thing must be doing some folks good since someone cared enough to give up that much when a couple of bucks is all i would ever hope for.

i am now overwhelmed at the help now 3 of our members have donated $50 each. unbelieveable in our current economic challenges.

so should i prepay the hosting or take some and make some new window stickers? any other ideas?
