looking for some help

After riding pretty hard last weekend, my 400ex developed a slight valve tap- Ive researched it and decided that I may need to have my valves adjusted. Is there anyone local that wouldnt mind showing me how to do this. I dont feel like paying a shop big bucks too do something that seems pretty simple according to this;
