Late Model MX Bike Wanted ASAP

Looking for a 2005 and later motocross bike. Would prefer a 250 two stroke or a 450 four stroke. Looking for something that is stock or mostly stock and is in mint condition. Prefer a bike that has never been raced. Let's see whatcha got.

Well, this whole MX thing is like a disease. I have been riding bikes since I was about 6 years old and just within the past 3 years made the switch to quads. I miss the bikes and now want both. I was thinking about selling a kidney or something to pay for it. Any takers?

just FYI, did you find a bike yet?
i've been watching ebay for bikes. not sure i am ready to buy a bike without riding it but truly amazing what they are going for $$. not always many in florida. i saw a awesome kx 25o in orlando did not sell. i think it was $2500 for a 2004 totally tricked.
of course Craigs list. i am looking for a bike as well. my budget is more like a 2001 to 2004 $2000.
i saw a 2005 rm 250 go for $1700 on ebay last weekend. a 2005 crf went for $3500 supposedly in perfect condition and maintained. you just never know with a 4 stroke. even if there was problems, for those prices it could be worth fixin a 2 stroke.

I actually ended up with 2 bikes. A 2003 RM 250 and a 2005 YZ 250. I bought the RM first and found a deal too good to pass up on the YZ. I sold the RM last week and bought another quad. Fun fun.

Not sure about the newer RM's but the 2003 was a great bike. One of the best handling bikes I have ever owned. It is not as fast as teh YZ but I think it handled better. I am still in the set-up phase on the YZ and currently have the suspension out being revalved/sprung for my weight and abilities (or lack thereof). I would not hesitate on a newer RM if the right deal came along.

I have a 2004 cr250 2stroke listed on craigs list. I bought it and moved.it has an fmf exhaust and a limited edition elsinore plastics kit on it. The bike is in better than showroom condition. I own over 20 bikes.Why? I had a business up north restoring them.Anyway, I never ride with 2 new babies and would love to see it go to a person that will ride it and keep it in good shape. i have it listed for 3500.00 and if u seee it u won't be dissapointed.
