I put 600hrs on my first motor and the crank bearing was leaving metal shavings in my oil filter. KNOCK ON WOOD, I have never lost a gear. Good luck and hurry back.

Cracked her open.... Looks like i'm replacing all the gears. Took a while to see but gears are fine, but the dogs are all rounded off?

Now when I tore mine and split her I had changed all the bearings on both sides of the case and the rod bearings and the third gear fricken break down fricken ooossa ooossa be calm be calm.
I am having flash backs.....

oh dave you will be happy. i took lots of pics of the old gears and the rebuild. today im setting up my gopro for 10 second pics and going to make a slideshow video of the bike build.

thanks so much to john plankey for rebuilding the motor!! we replaced every transmission part A-Z, gears, washers, retaining clips, seals, all gaskets and rings.

im about to start the bike rebuild now !! :rock:

so excited and hopeful to race next weekend :bubbrubb2:
